App Review Team: Please tell me why you think you would be a strong candidate for reviewing applications for this game and helping provide informed judgements on these apps? Please list some canons you have strong in depth familiarity with that you know you would have an easier time reviewing. Also please list any canons you would NOT be willing to judge apps for (whether to avoid spoilers or for whatever other reason).

NPC Volunteering: Please detail what kind of character types you would be willing to NPC and for how long or how involved a plot you would be willing to play them. Also include any types you would NOT be willing to play. Please also remain aware that should offline responsibilities or your current character roster make it difficult for you to follow through with a plot related to your NPC it is perfectly okay to request to be taken off the NPC list. If you do not and it becomes a significant problem that I notice (such as a time-sensitive plot taking weeks to finish instead of days or consistent thread drops for either the NPC or your PC roster), I reserve the right to speak with you and potentially remove you from the list.

HIATUS

HIATUS: when someone needs to take a break from direct participation in the game, to the point of not tagging into any new threads or making any news posts on any of the IC game communities for a set or indefinite length of time. This can be for themselves or for one (or more) of the characters they play in the game.

A hiatus for Daedalus needs to be longer than 4 days.

If the hiatus lasts for longer than two weeks of a month, the player is exempt from AC during that month.

If this occurs two months in a row (or goes from two weeks in one month and another two weeks into the next), the player is required to meet at least half of the AC requirements (meaning 8 comments, at least one thread) during the second month, or they should contact the mods and request exempt status due to extenuating circumstances.

If your hiatus extends past the "end date" you provided on your request, respond to it before the end date to let us know it will be longer with a new projected end date.

Reminder: If you are not on a total hiatus (meaning all of your characters have been put on hiatus), you are still required to respond to AC with those characters stating that they are on hiatus.

To request Hiatus Status, you need to fill out the form below and paste it into a comment with your name in the header.

This taken page may be somewhat different than what most of you are used to, but it was felt to be the easiest way of maintaining organization of the players for the game. You want to send your character to prison?

There is a Three Strikes And You're Out clause in this game. If the mods have speak with you more than twice about breaking any of these rules then you are thus removed from the game and will be temporarily banned. There is no distinction between “basic value” of these rules. They are all equal. It is your offenses that will be judged accordingly.

The mods reserve the right to handwave the strike requirement, boot you right out of the game and even permanently ban you, if your first or second offense is just that bad. Examples would be blatantly disrespectful OOC behavior about obvious triggers (such as sexual assault or consent issues), misuse of NPCs on a large scale, godmoding mod NPCs, and repeated harassment of other players to play out torture or nonconsensual IC plots. This is not a game where ignoring the rules will work for making sure everyone can enjoy themselves in a safe and understanding environment. Please do not push this.
