EVENT SUGGESTIONS & PLAYER PLOT PROPOSALS
We can suggest events?
Why of course you can! This a very player-intensive game and the plot is malleable enough that new events can not only help push the game along on its overarching plot, but are necessary to encourage characters to interact with the setting. If you have an idea for game-wide event that you would like to see happen, please feel free to suggest it here! We would love to hear about it.
What kind of events are allowed?
Because Daedalus is a darker game with elements of torture and experimentation, it is possible to have a variety of events. Some of them can even be on the lighter side, but for the most part, those kind of events will have to be player run and motivated. If you would like to suggest events that the mod(s) need to facilitate and organize themselves or propose a player-run plot that you intend to organize, please fill out the form below.
What if I want to run my own event/plot?
A player plot/event that requires mod permission is one that involves greatly altering a character (whether through killing them, severely injuring/maiming them, NPC experimentation, or another character turning them into a vampire/werewolf/etc), or one that influences a great number of characters in game or causes drastic damage/change to the setting itself.
If you want to do a plot where your character gets beat up by inmates from another gang and it takes them a few days to heal up? No problem, go right ahead, you don't need to ask. If your character is building a black market trade for hard to come by items, then you don't need permission, but be aware other characters could be trying to do the same thing.
If you want to stage a block-wide riot or do a plot that would need big huge red trigger and content warnings on it because of questionable content, then it's always better to double check with us here. This is a game where dark things will undoubtedly happen, but it is also a game where players are expected to treat all of these issues with respect and sensitivity to other players and the seriousness of those dark themes.
All Player Plot requests must be submitted at least FOUR WEEKS in advance, to give us time to make sure it does not conflict with any upcoming game plot/events and you time to prepare should it be approved. All comments here will be screened.
