HIATUS: when someone needs to take a break from direct participation in the game, to the point of not tagging into any new threads or making any news posts on any of the IC game communities for a set or indefinite length of time. This can be for themselves or for one (or more) of the characters they play in the game.

A hiatus for Daedalus needs to be longer than 4 days.

If the hiatus lasts for longer than two weeks of a month, the player is exempt from AC during that month.

If this occurs two months in a row (or goes from two weeks in one month and another two weeks into the next), the player is required to meet at least half of the AC requirements (meaning 8 comments, at least one thread) during the second month, or they should contact the mods and request exempt status due to extenuating circumstances.

If your hiatus extends past the "end date" you provided on your request, respond to it before the end date to let us know it will be longer with a new projected end date.

Reminder: If you are not on a total hiatus (meaning all of your characters have been put on hiatus), you are still required to respond to AC with those characters stating that they are on hiatus.

That is step one. STEP TWO. Involves you commenting to YOUR personal player thread with the information for the character(s) you have been accepted into the game with. Each character should get their own sub-comment. This way should you decide to drop a character we can delete the comment and if you need to change information, for say your contact info or maybe you got a new journal for said character, you can do those changes yourself.
